The Role

This  6-month contract  with the possibility of going temp to perm will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer, who will report directly to the Accounts receivable supervisor. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Managing financial transactions for the  accounts receivable officer
• Generate invoices.
• Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoice/s.
• Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, bank accounts, foreign currency payments, etc.
• Support the month-end process.
• Report on Aged Receivables plus other ad-hoc reporting where applicable.
• Assisting with the audit process and implementing recommendations for improvements
• Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Supporting the Finance Manager in ad hoc projects and tasks as required

• 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business. 
• Experience using large systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
