  • 9-month Maternity Leave Contract - starting in May
  • Based in the CBD - great offices and workplace culture
  • circa. $150-180k + super
  • A rare opportunity to join a Property Group as their Group HR Manager, to lead HR strategy and operations - this role would be perfect for a process-driven HR Manager that enjoys business improvement.

    The Role: 
    The HR Manager will lead HR strategy and operations - this role would be perfect for a process-driven HR Manager that enjoys business improvement.
    • Manage and develop effective human resources strategies to achieve the business goals.
    • Reviewing current policies and creating new ones, including a code of conduct
    • Build strong relationships with the executive team and work to ensure open communication across all levels of the business.
    • Act as a business partner to the executive team, including coaching any skill gaps. 
    • Review job descriptions and update as needed 
    • Facilitate employee development plans and programs, including talent reviews and succession planning, recruitment and selection strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Optimise current performance management systems and explore ways to use additional features for efficacy.
    • Provide advice to managers and employees on people issues, statutory obligations, and contemporary HR practices.
    • Develop comprehensive learning framework
    • Manage compensation and benefits issues, including remuneration data, salary review and bonus program administration, and salary and benefit benchmarking - this includes STI and LTI structures
    • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and develop and implement programs to ensure the safety and welfare of employees.
    • Preparing WGEA reports and conducting gender pay gap analysis
    • Implementing actions from employee surveys
    About You:
    • Proven Corporate HR management experience (10 years +)
    • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
    • Experience with HR systems (Sentrient preferred) and performance management frameworks
    • Policy development and implementation skills
    • Excellent mentoring and communication abilities
    • Experience in remuneration management and administration
    • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
    • Ability to identify and address workplace compliance issues
    • Strong organisational and project management skills
