The HR Manager will lead HR strategy and operations - this role would be perfect for a process-driven HR Manager that enjoys business improvement.
- Manage and develop effective human resources strategies to achieve the business goals.
- Reviewing current policies and creating new ones, including a code of conduct
- Build strong relationships with the executive team and work to ensure open communication across all levels of the business.
- Act as a business partner to the executive team, including coaching any skill gaps.
- Review job descriptions and update as needed
- Facilitate employee development plans and programs, including talent reviews and succession planning, recruitment and selection strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Optimise current performance management systems and explore ways to use additional features for efficacy.
- Provide advice to managers and employees on people issues, statutory obligations, and contemporary HR practices.
- Develop comprehensive learning framework
- Manage compensation and benefits issues, including remuneration data, salary review and bonus program administration, and salary and benefit benchmarking - this includes STI and LTI structures
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and develop and implement programs to ensure the safety and welfare of employees.
- Preparing WGEA reports and conducting gender pay gap analysis
- Implementing actions from employee surveys
- Proven Corporate HR management experience (10 years +)
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Experience with HR systems (Sentrient preferred) and performance management frameworks
- Policy development and implementation skills
- Excellent mentoring and communication abilities
- Experience in remuneration management and administration
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to identify and address workplace compliance issues
- Strong organisational and project management skills
