We’re proud to partner with a premium ASX-Listed investment manager to recruit a pivotal ‘Operations Analyst’ contract role for their high-performing, City located team.
Responsible for tasks across operations, portfolio analysis, and reporting this role requires a skilled professional who has experience liaising with external service providers such as custodians, unit registries and various external data providers.
Your duties will include:
- Trade Settlement of both unlisted and listed securities
- Instruct the Custodian on daily Cash and Security transactions
- Portfolio cash monitoring
- Payment and processing of daily redemption funding to the Unit Registry
- Analysis of Funds against benchmarks, target allocation and peers
- Assist with preparation of quarterly Fund updates
- Assist with preparation of monthly papers for Board and Investment Committees
- Point of contact for client queries and trade instructions
- Assist with the resolution of ad hoc queries in relation to investor / client flows
Located in Sydney CBD, working 4 days onsite (1 WFH), you will join an impressive team that are a part of an ambitious and high-growth Group.
As the Operations Analyst, you will be a valued team member, who has the proven ability to adhere to, support and promote compliance policies and procedures, that promote professional behaviour.
You will work with a tenured Senior Manager, who enjoys a collaborative approach, as well as promoting autonomy & accountability across the team.
Your skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of Australian and Global Unlisted Investment Trusts preferably covering a wide range of asset classes.
- Experience with Portfolio Implementation, Investment Operations and Trade Settlements.
- Understanding of Corporate Actions on ASX listed securities
- Strong analytical capability and ability to effectively communicate financial information
- Experience using various Financial Software (e.g. Morningstar Direct, Factset, Lonsec iRate) desirable but not essential
