Our client, a leading Australian consumer goods specialist, are looking to hire a Management Accountant. With record sales across the Group and all business units in FY23, this is an exciting time to join!
  
They are currently looking for a seasoned Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract.


The Role

This  1 2 -month contract  will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available Management Accountant, who will report directly and collaborate with the Finance Manager. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Delivering timely and precise management accounts and project reports, including journal entries.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of operating performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements on key projects.
• Assisting with the preparation of comprehensive budgets and forecasts.
• Enhancing financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
• Empowering project managers with the knowledge to interpret reports and uncover opportunities for added value.
• Assisting in the development of financial models. 

• CA or CPA qualified (Preferred)
• 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business. 
• Experience using large systems.
• Experience within consumer goods.
• Intermediate experience with Excel
• Eager to learn.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
