Our client who is a leading organisation in the manufacturing space are looking for a management accountant to join them on a temporary basis to assist with the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet and P&L statement. This encompasses all Balance Sheet reconciliations, monthly management accounts, tax returns and statutory reporting. Balance sheet ownership is integral, complimented with initiative, a pro-active attitude and quality focus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end processes
- Monthly sales and financial reporting
- Prepare FBT returns
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Identify and implement process improvement within the finance team
- Previous accounting experience in a similar accounting role
- Knowledge & understanding of tax effective accounting, statutory accounts & tax returns
- Clear understanding of AP, AR & Payroll controls
- General ledger knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Word skills
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Degree in accounting
