Due to an internal restructure, an opportunity has opened up for an experienced Project Accountant with Residential Development experience to join this business. 

Reporting into the Head of Development Finance, you will be responsible for project accounting, financial reporting and compliance reporting. You will control the general ledger across all projects, including reconciliations, preparations of journals, reconciliation of loans, accounting for revenue and reconciling feasibility models. 

In addition you will be responsible for preparing all financial reports as well as cashflow and forecasts for projects. You will also work with the external accountants to manage taxation and regulatory processes ensuring tax returns, BAS and all filings are on track and in compliance for all entities.

Finally you will be responsible for providing project details for feasability models. 

To be considered for this role you will have 5-7 years Project Accounting experience with a Development finance team. You will be CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong Excel skills. You will also be comfortable working in a complex organisational structure with excellent stakeholder management.
